| Summary | The Romanian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 1,000 on Alpha Bank Romania SA. The bank had accidentally sent a document to the wrong recipient via WhatsApp. The document contained personal data of four data subjects, such as first and last names and information on loans and contracts. During its investigation, the DPA found that the bank had failed to implement sufficient technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. |
